Students are expected to park at the SMHS Pacific Lot. The Pacific Lot is located across from Arby’s at the intersection of San Marcos Blvd. and Pacific Street. Students must have completed the “Start Smart Class” with their parent/guardian and have completed the SMHS Parking Permit Application and received a parking sticker to park in the Pacific Lot. Applications for Parking Permits should be taken to the Finance Office, Room 202, before school, at break, lunch and immediately after school. You must bring a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, current registration and completed parking permit application (including parent signature). NO parking permit will be issued to any student who has not completed the “Start Smart Class” or who still owes money for books, equipment and/or has a Saturday School attendance obligation form previous years.The Smart Start Program is an opportunity for teen drivers and their parents/guardians to clearly understand their responsibilities when a teen starts to drive. Smart Start Classes have been scheduled at MHHS for 2/15, 4/4, 4/18 and 5/2 at 6:30pm.
