The Running program at LCM has become a great weekly tradition. The program will continue all year on Wednesday and Friday mornings, starting at 8:15 a.m. All students and parents are welcome and encouraged to join! This is a great way to promote healthy living.
Your child will receive a "running stick" for every lap successfully completed. Four of these laps is equal to one mile; your child's teacher will be monitoring the miles completed. There are many wonderful reasons to get out and run, from physical fitness to mental alertness to...prizes! Students will have multiple opportunities to earn prizes along the way. So, lace up those running shoes and we will see you on the field!
Awards will be given to runners who achieve the following levels:
5 miles 10 miles 25 miles 50 miles 75 miles 100 miles
